Rhonda Thompson is the founder and owner of R T P Rhonda Thompson Promotions. Rhonda was Born in Dalton GA in 1966, and is an only child. She grew up and lived there through her college years, until she  married her husband Terry Thompson in 1987.  Rhonda has been involved in the music industry since early childhood. She traveled with her family as they sang and played throughout the southeast. She was involved in the music program throughout her high school years and college. She and her husband Terry traveled together from coast to coast in ministry for over 5 years.

Since 1993, Rhonda has been involved in Radio Promotions. She  worked at Daywind Music Group for over 12 years, and was the National Radio Promotions Director there until April 2006 when she decided to start her own company, Rhonda Thompson Promotions.   During her promotions career of over 15 years, she has had the privilege of promoting over 45 Number One, 145 Top Ten, 195 Top Twenty, 300 Top 40, and numerous Top 80 chart songs. Rhonda has worked with many of the top recording artists in the music industry, and enjoyed success on numerous Grammy and Dove Award Winning Projects. She has been named the SGMA Radio Promoter Of The Year for an unprecedented 5 years. She has been blessed to average  (3) number one songs each year for 12 years in a row. She has debuted 2 of the highest 3 charting songs in Singing News history with a number (9) We Want America Back (Steeles) and number (7) The Shepherds Call (Crabb Family). It is obvious of Rhonda’s knowledge and experience in radio promotion.
